I call this the "Rolls Royce of manures" because llamas/alpacas have three stomachs, a digestive system that destroys weed seeds. Llama/alpaca manure lacks any significant odour and does not have to be composted before use. It comes in tidy piles of 100% pellets with no additives of any kind, which can be applied fresh, as they will not burn plants. |

Alpaca manure is ready to use
no preparation required Here at Islepaca Farms we package our Binky’s Beans on site and distribute directly to you, the garden enthusiast. All our beans are sun dried, hand selected and are free from rocks and vegetable matter. Using alpaca/llama manure as fertilizer is a great idea. Even though it has a lower organic content alpaca/llama manure is still considered a rich soil conditioner. Easy to use, spread the whole or ground beans around the base of the plant. The smaller burlap bags are extremely popular are perfect for making “Alpaca Tea”. All you need to do is soak the bag overnight in 4 litres of hot water, then water your pot plants or seedlings with the liquid manure. You can also do a more concentrated mix of 2 cups hot water and the bag can be reused numerous times. Once your bag is used, simply put the bag into your compost heap. |
